A former member of the U.S. National Team and a Division I All-American, Taylor West has joined the Millersville coaching staff prior to the 2023 season.
West made more than 80 international appearances as part of Team USA, competing in New Zeland, Australia, Argentina, Japan and Chile. She was a member of a gold medal winning team at the 2017 World League Semifinals in Johannesburg, South Africa, and won a bronze medal at the 2017 Pan American Cup hosted in Lancaster, Pa.
West entered the coaching ranks in 2021 as a member of the Saint Joseph's staff.
Before beginning her playing career with Team USA, West was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year in 2015, landing All-America Second Team honors for James Madison. West was a three-time all-region and All-CAA selection while scoring 130 points and 56 goals. She graduated ranked No. 3 in career points and fourth in career goals.
West earned a bachelor's degree in health sciences from James Madison in 2015.
