Biography
2015-16: One of only four four-year golfers in program history at the time of graduation...Missed four of five tournaments in the fall with academic obligations...Placed 17th out of 42 golfers in only fall appearance, shooting an 181total at the Kutztown Invitational...Played in each of the final five tournaments and finished season with a 91.0 scoring average...Matched a career-best 36-hole score at the ESU Invitational, shooting a 179.
2014-15:Â Tied with the four other regulars in 2015 for rounds played with 20 and that mark is the most in a single season in Millersville history...Turned in five top 10's and seven top 25's during her junior campaign...Set a new personal best for 18 holes with an 82 (+10) and did it at both the Gettysburg Invitational (Sept. 28) and in round one of the ESU Invitational (April 19)...Also recorded a career-low 36-hole score of 179 and did that twice as well...The first time came at the Clarion Invitational (+35) and was good for 36th-place finish out of 49 golfers...The second time was on a much bigger stage at the PSAC Championship (+37) where she finished 35th out of 45 golfers...Career average now sits at 94.5 and that is the sixth best in Millersville history.
2013-14: Improved scoring average by more than three shots from the previous season...Recorded six top-25 finishes and a season-best fifth-place finish at the Dickinson Invitational on Sept. 14...Posted a career low round of 89 (17-over-par) in the event...Shot best 36-hole score of her career at the season-ending ESU Invitational...Shot back-to-back rounds of 93 to finish at 42-over-par in a tie for 14th place.
2012-13: Tied for the team lead in rounds played with 16...Posted sixth-best scoring average in program history...Recorded six top-25 finishes including four of the final five events of the season...Posted a scoring average of 95.8 in the spring, which was nearly a five-shot improvement from the fall...Became the third Millersville women's golfer to take medalist honors in an event when she took first place with an 18-over-par score at the first-ever Millersville Invitational...Tied for 16th at the Kutztown Invitational and 13th at the Ursinus College Invitational...Posted best round of the seasion at the ESU Invitational with a 90.
High School: Golfed at Twin Valley High School...Won a varsity letter...Finished fourth in the
BCIAA Tournament.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Darlene Olear...Has one older brother...Majoring in psychology.
