Marauders shine with a full roster finish in the top 25 at Clarion Invitational

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville University women's golf team showcased their determination at the Golden Eagle Autumn Invitational improved significantly, finishing the weekend third overall after the rain out of the West Chester Battle Field Invitational just a week prior. Lex Pfeufer led the charge, finishing 10th in the standings.

Pfeufer recorded the highest finish for Millersville with rounds of 16-over and 6-over, climbing seven places over the course of the second round. Erica Gerner tied for 12th after rounds of 9-over and 16-over, while Sabrina Swope and Ashden Stitt both tied for 15th with rounds of 12-over and 15-over. Rachel Schuda finished the weekend 21st, and Anabelle McGowan rounded out the Marauders, ending in 24th.

With all Marauders placing in the top 25, the team accumulated an overall score of 100-over par, putting them third in the standings.

The Marauders are back on the road this Sunday and Monday as they compete in their second-to-last event of the fall season hosted by the Kutztown Golden Bears.
