DANVILLE, PA. - Millersville finishes out their fall season with a 1st place win at the Bloomsburg University Women's Collegiate Officals Challenge was also claiming the top three spots in individual play.
Rain cut the challenge short but the golfers made the most of the 18-hole course as all six golfers placed in the top 20. Erica Gerner took home the first place overall individual title after shooting a 12-over par round. Ashden Stitt and Lex Pfeufer both tied for 2nd also shooting a 12-over round but earned themselves a few more double and triple bogey's. Anabelle McGown wasn't far behind shooting a 19-over par placing her tied for 12th. Rachel Schuda and Sabrina Swope rounded out the Marauder lineup tied for 16th with a 21-over.
With all six girls placing in the top 20, it allowed the team to skate to the top of the leader board with a 55-over par round and with the rain cutting the challenge short allowed them to claim the win. This is the teams highest finish of the season as the prepare to enter the off-season and get ready for the spring. This is Gerners first career win and fifth top ten finish since starting at Millersville
