Marauders compete in two meets to prep for PSACs

ELIZABETHTOWN AND SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Millersville University women's track and field team split competition across two meets on Friday and Saturday as the Marauders continued their preparation for the PSAC Outdoor Championships next Thursday through Saturday. On Friday, the hammer throw squad traveled to the Blue Jay Tune-Up hosted by Elizabethtown College and swept the top three spots. Meanwhile, the rest of the Marauders competed at Shippensburg University's Paul Kaiser Classic, where multiple athletes turned in top-three finishes.

NOTABLE RESULTS
Blue Jay Tune-Up (Friday)

Sarah Hessler, Seya Trujillo, and Chloe Enck swept the top three spots in the hammer throw, while Emily Sheffe finished in fifth and Melanie Palen finished 15th.

Paul Kaiser Classic (Saturday)

Victoria Massoom finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles prelims with a PSAC qualifying time of 15.46.
Ashley Main finished the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a 12:02.80 to finish in fourth.
Millersville's team A (Danika Bolinsky, Jai'Ana Ingram, Adyson Haak, and Aasly De Leon) finished first in the 4X100-meter relay.
Hessler continued her stand-out weekend with a third place finish in the discus throw with a 129-05.
Erin Krauss finished first in the javelin.
