"It's always nice when guys return after battling through injuries." Stated Head Coach Jerry Boland. "Even better when they show the grit and desire to win like some of them did today. Gutsy performances from all of them today.".
The Marauders returned to the mat two hours later to face Alvernia University. Boland once again opened the dual at 125 pounds and did not disappoint, jumping out to an early lead and earning a 7–1 decision win. Cottone rebounded at 133 pounds with a technical fall at 5:23. Multiple stalling calls put the Delaware native behind heading into the final period, but he continued to push forward. Sinclair used the energy from the Marauders' bench to force two stalling calls in the final seconds of regulation, sending the match into overtime. The sophomore capitalized with a quick takedown for a sudden-victory win.
Richie Defulvio competed at 165 pounds for Millersville in another tightly contested match. He jumped out to an early lead but relinquished it as Alvernia battled back. Defulvio escaped in the final seconds to secure a decision victory. The Marauders forfeited at 174 pounds, giving Alvernia six additional team points

Entering the final match at 285 pounds, Alvernia held a 19–17 lead. The outcome rested with Kuhns for the Marauders. The match featured heavy hand fighting early, but Alvernia capitalized with a takedown to take the lead. Kuhns was taken down again later in the match and suffered an injury during the exchange, which ended his day. Millersville fell to Alvernia, 25–17, in the team score.
"We have a tough stretch coming up." Said Coach Boland. "Staying healthy is critical this time of the year. We have to continue to balance how we train and how we recover so we can get a few more guys back. Being at full strength next weekend and heading down the stretch will be crucial."
The Marauders return to action next Friday when they travel to Seton Hill for another PSAC dual beginning at 7 p.m. They will have a short turnaround, as they face No. 5 ranked Pitt-Johnstown at noon the following day.
