LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Athletes of the Week for the week of January 12, with freshman
Abigail Lowman earning PSAC Co-Women's Swimmer of the Week honors. Lowman shared the award with Edinboro's Katelyn Reott after a standout week in the pool.
During the 2025–26 season, Lowman has already etched her name into the Marauders' All-Time Top Ten lists in four individual events. She is tied for sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (59.72), ranks fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:09.55), fifth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.72), and fifth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:43.69). Lowman is also a member of the Marauders' 200-yard medley relay squad that currently sits seventh all-time with a mark of 1:49.51.
Lowman delivered a dominant performance for Millersville in its dual meet against Arcadia University on January 10, helping lead the Marauders to a 140–82 victory. She swept the backstroke events, winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.40 and the 50-yard backstroke in 27.96, and added another individual victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.25. Lowman also led off the Marauders' winning 200-yard medley relay, which touched first in 1:52.30—nearly five seconds ahead of the second-place team. Overall, Lowman accounted for three individual wins and played a key role in a relay victory, contributing to four of the Marauders' nine first-place finishes on the day.
