Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. — The Millersville women's tennis team was defeated by Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday evening, suffering a 7–0 loss.
 
The Marauders have been playing with only five players the last couple of duals, making it tough to start play with the doubles point. The top pairing of Hui Jen Soo and Lauren Hayes were able to beat Elizabeth Mova and Zehra Canbaz 6–4, but the Lightning took the second match and picked up a win by default to jump ahead 1–0. The Marauders' day didn't get any easier in singles play, as Goldey-Beacom took all five matches, winning four of them in two sets.
 
The Marauders fell to 8–8 with the loss and will look to bounce back this weekend against Bloomsburg. 'Ville will take on the Huskies in its penultimate PSAC East dual of the season at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Bloomsburg.
