In a breakthrough dual before the team travels south to for spring break, head coach
Matt Helsel was happy with the team's effort. Though he'd like to see more consistency from the team in doubles play, he's proud of his top players setting the tone for the rest of the team.
"We played really well today; some high-quality tennis in difficult conditions with a thorough and consistent effort from top to bottom and start to finish," said Helsel. "Lino and Jasper have really been driving the train for us so far, and they certainly did their part today, but this time they had support. This sort of effort is contagious, which is good because this needs to be the standard."
The Marauders are off unitl Monday as they travel south for their spring break trip, starting things off at 9 a.m. on March 10 in Hilton Head Island, S.C. against Thomas More.
