
Kirby wins second consecutive PSAC Athlete of the Week award

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Millersville University's Charley Kirby won in her second consecutive start and was awarded the PSAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week award for the second week in a row.
Kirby, now a three-time PSAC Athlete of the Week, followed up her win at last week's LVC Spring Invitational with medalist honors at the Vulcan Fire Classic at Lone Pines Country Club in Washington, Pa. Kirby posted an 11-over 83 in the opening round and closed with a 9-over 81 to best a field of 41 golfers.
Kirby's three career wins place her fourth in program history. She joins Shannon Weber (2014-15, 2015-16), Danielle Greene (2015-16, 2017-18), Hannah Yanoski (2020-21), and Jaimie Wharton (2013-14) as the only Marauders to win two or more events in the same season.
