
Ruefle leads Marauders in prep for postseason

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Millersville University women's cross country team finished 14th in a field of 33 teams at Saturday's Gettysburg Invitational.
The top of Millersville's lineup rested in preparation for next week's PSAC Championship, and Coach Andy Young utilized the Gettysburg Invitational to settle the final few spots for the postseason's 12-runner lineup.
Bella Ruefle took advantage of the opportunity by finishing first among Millersville's runners, taking 60th in the field of 300 runners. She ran a personal best time of 23:49.10. Ashley Main ran a PR time of 24:45.70 for 95th. Abby Bond's 25:01.60 landed her in 111th, and Cora Wetz finished three spots later with a time of 25:08.90.
Millersville next competes in the PSAC Championship at Edinboro on Oct. 25.
