Box Score LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Millersville men's tennis team returned to the courts for the 2024–25 season at the Bucknell Invitational, competing in both singles and doubles play.

The Marauders competed across seven divisions of singles play, with three picking up wins in their pool play. Victor Suarez had the best day in individual play on the team, going 2–1 in the purple pool, while Jasper de Koning and Sandor Wulf each picked up a win in the white and green pool respectively.

Despite running into some trouble in singles play, the Marauders hit their stride in doubles action. Three duos were entered, and each one secured at least one win in group play. Head coach Matt Helsel said he was pleased with how the team was able to bounce back in the doubles side of the tournament, showing strong signs of potential early in the season.

"The men played fantastic doubles matches," Helsel said. "I thought they were very impressive. We also had several good singles results, but our doubles play was particularly sharp."

Paul Bagnouls and de Koning also had a successful stretch of doubles play, leaving Group 5 with a 2–1 record.
