POSTGAME REACTION FROM HEAD COACH KAITLYN HAFDELL
- Overall thoughts on the game: "In the end, Shippensburg just wanted it more. It was their hustle, it was their grit, it just outweighed ours with them capitalizing off our mistakes. We definitely had the heart and the hustle as well, just needed to capitalize on the little things. This was a team that we battled to the last second, and it shows that their heart is there. We had some really good looks to the cage and we have to put some on the board. I thought we played well, but Shippensburg played better."
- Mindset heading into the last three games: "We need to play better than we did today. The girls know it. Accountability wise, it's there. We understand that we need to show up differently than we did today. We know that the team that played Bloomsburg and the first half in the West Chester game, we know we can bring that team out. So, it's nice that we have a week to prepare for a school that is predominantly been really good. I think it's good to restart, refresh, and have that entire week to just focus on Kutztown."
- On the three seniors impact on the program: "They're going to be missed. They've worked really hard in this game too. You can tell that the girls played for their seniors, so it was very emotional after the game. Knowing that this is our last home Saturday game with the amazing crowd that we have, we have so much support. It's going to be tough shoes to fill, but it's nice that we have three more games with them.
