THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH KAITLYN HAFDELL:
- Thoughts on the team's performance: "It was great! All our middies and attackers got a statistic today with a goal, assist, turnover, and or ground ball. I think we did amazing on defense with our high pressure slowing down the ball. Overall, this was a team win, there was no point where we were relying on one or two people. The whole roster was the reason we contributed to this win."
- Offense having 12 different goal scorers: "It is amazing and it shows the depth of our talent on this team. It also shows how unselfish our offense is that we are not just driving all the time to the net, we are looking for the assist and or trying to set up a teammate."
- Winning home opener: "It feels really good, I do wish we had better weather. We had a great crowd come out and support us and it helped kick off the season that much more. Plus it is fun to show our family and friends the hard work we have put in."
- Thoughts against IUP: "IUP is definitely going to be a tougher opponent than who we have been playing recently. It will come down to us continuing to play at the level we are at and focusing on the little things. We will focus on scouting our opponent and what they will be bringing to the game on Saturday."
UP NEXT:
- The Marauders will host IUP on Saturday, March 9 at 1 p.m.
