'Ville men's basketball selected to NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Millersville men's basketball returns to the madness of March as it was selected to play in the NCAA Division II Tournament as the No. 5 seed in the Atlantic Regional.
The Marauders, who own a 24-6 record, will play No. 4 seed West Liberty (25-6) in the first round on Friday, March 15 in Erie, Pa. West Liberty finished as the Mountain East Conference Tournament runner-up a season after reaching the NCAA Championship game in 2023. Gannon, which topped Cal U in the PSAC Tournament Sunday, earned the No. 1 seed and plays eight-seed Lincoln, which won the CIAA Tournament.
Millersville returns to the site of the PSAC Semifinals where it played Gannon on Saturday. At the site, along with Millersville and West Liberty, Gannon plays eight-seed Lincoln, which won the CIAA Tournament. Cal U is also a host for four teams and plays seventh-seeded West Virginia State and No. 3 seed Charleston, which won the Mountain East Conference, plays No. 6 seed Concord.
Millersville makes its second NCAA Tournament appearance in the last three seasons and 13th all-time. The winners of the eight regions advance to the Elite Eight hosted in Evansville, Ind. from March 26-30.
The NCAA now requires all fans to purchase an NCAA Championship Pass to watch games online. The price is $9.95 per game or $29.95 for the championship tournament. Fans can purchase the pass here.
