Box Score KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Millersville women's soccer fell short on the road against the Bloomsburg Huskies in PSAC East action Saturday, 1-0.
The Huskies controlled possession in the beginning of the game. They took the early lead in the first 15 minutes of the game. The unassisted goal came from forward Brooke Foster. The Marauders battled the remainder of the first half but had no success putting a tally on the board before halftime.Â
To start the second half, the Marauders generated more chances offensively. They had two shots and two corner kicks in the second half and held the Huskies to two shots and one corner.Â
"Our effort in the second half was better," Millersville head coach Matt Procopio said. "We can learn that when you lack energy and all around effort for 45 minutes it will be difficult to win games."
After the 1-0 loss, the Marauders look to play West Chester at home on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 7Â p.m.
