MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Two members of both the Millersville men's and women's tennis programs have earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honors. 

Honorees from the men's team include Jasper de Koning and Zach Pernia. The women's team was represented by Noelle Htwar and Hui Jen Soo. 

Pernia owns a 3.74 cumulative GPA  as a government major. He was also named All-PSAC Doubles First Team and second team in singles. De Koning is a meteorology major with a 3.78 GPA. He went 12-8 in singles in 2022-23. 

On the women's side, Htwar was Millersville's No. 1 singles player and an All-PSAC East Doubles First Team selection. She is a 3.84 GPA student in early childhood education. Soo also earned All-PSAC East First Team honors in both singles and doubles and boasts a 3.77 GPA in psychology. 

The 2023 Academic All-District® Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA and compete in at least 50% of their team's competitions. All-District honorees are now eligible for Academic All-America consideration.
