
Millersville remains in fifth after day two of PSAC Championship Tournament

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Millersville women's golf team recorded a team score of 55-over-par to remain in fifth place after day two of the PSAC Championship Tournament.
'Ville improved by 11 strokes as a team from round one to round two, totaling 697 strokes through two rounds of play. Gannon remained in first place with a team score of 627. California (Pa.) (661), West Chester (672) and Mercyhurst (683) round of the rest of the leaderboard ahead of the Marauders. Millersville has a 22-stroke lead over Kutztown (719) who sits in sixth.
Ditte Peterson of Gannon moved up one spot to take the individual lead at 7-over-par (151) as she carded a tournament low 73 to shoot just one-over-par in her second round.

The three round championship tournament concludes on Sunday, April 30.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Amanda Steier dropped seven spots and now sits in a tie for 12th place in the individual standings at 25-over-par. The senior carded an 88 in her second round as her score increased by seven strokes from day one to day two, totaling 169 strokes through two rounds. Steier recorded seven pars during her round as she shot seven-over-par on the front nine and nine-over-par on the back nine.
- Taylor Hileman dropped ten spots in the standings and sits in a tie for 20th at 29-over-par for a total score of 173. Hileman has shown the most consistency through two rounds, carding an 85 in round one and an 88 in round two.
- Charley Kirby moved up three spots to tie for 26th. Kirby improved her score by seven strokes as she shot a 92 in round one and an 85 in round two for a total score of 177. She recorded five pars and one birdie on the day.
- Amanda Wolf saw the biggest jump for 'Ville in the standings as she moved up nine spots and is tied for 28th at 35-over-par. She shaved 13 strokes off her round one score, carding a team low 83 in the second round. Wolf recorded six pars and a pair of birdies on the day as she shot just 3-over-par on her back nine.
- Emma Schotsch also saw improvements from round one as she moved up seven spots in the standings to tie for 30th. Schotsch knocked nine strokes off her score, carding an 87 to finish the day 15-over-par.
