GLENSIDE, Pa. - With just a week until graduation, senior
Carolyn Bolden competed in her final meet representing the Black and Gold, and she finished her career with a team win over Arcadia. Bolden's teammates rallied behind her with an excellent performance, outscoring the Knights, 190-71.
Although there were no new PSAC cut times or records, the Marauders took first place in 13 of the 14 events.
- Jordan Plempel continued to shine for Millersville with four first-place finishes in the 200 IM, 200 backstroke, 100 backstroke, and 200 medley relay.
- Leah Eckert followed up her outstanding performance at Franklin & Marshall last week, with four first-place finishes as well (200 freestyle relay, 200 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, and 200 medley relay).
- Claire Weaver, Jane McClelland, Kristen Maile, and Jewels Hepner all collected first-place finishes as well.
- Bolden competed in the 50 free, 100 free and was the anchor in two relay events.

- On the team's improvement and growth so far this season: "The team came out of a challenging week of training and found a way to put together some great swimming against Arcadia. They continue to work hard in the weight room and the pool which has shown in their results over the course of the year. They are a group that wants to swim fast for each other and will push each other to be the best swimmer and student possible. We continue to work hard and have fun together as a group which has been leading to great success thus far in the season."
