RICHMOND, Va.- The Marauders traveled to Richmond to take on the Virginia Union Lady Panthers on Friday night. After a hot Marauder start in which they scored 19 points in the first quarter, the Lady Panthers came back and won the game 73-61. 
The Marauders allowed Virginia Union to convert over three-quarters of its shots in the first half. The Lady Panthers shot 14-18 in the half, a 77.8 shooting percentage. Offensively for Millersville, 
La'Shyra Williams and 
Makiah Shaw led the charge. Williams put up a team-high 16 points on six of eight shooting to pair with seven rebounds, which also led the team. Shaw scored 15 points on 50% shooting from the field.
Millersville is back in action on Sunday, Nov. 12. at 3 p.m. when it takes on Shaw University.Â
