The Marauders are back to honor their senior class against Messiah

LANCASTER, Pa. - After a relaxing holiday break, the Marauders are back in Anttonen Natatorium to face off against Messiah on Friday at 5 p.m.
The Millersville women's swimming team concluded 2022 with a 160-96 win over Bryn Mawr on Dec 3, improving their overall season record to 5-2 and continuing their undefeated streak at home.

ABOUT THE MEET
- It has been about a year since these two teams have competed. The last meeting was on Jan. 22, 2022. The final results of that meet was Millersville winning 136.50-119.50.
- The last meeting was part of a tri-meet, and Friday marks the first the first time that these two teams have gone head-to-head in a dual.
- The Falcons are currently 7-0 overall with a 2-0 record on the road.
- Messiah last competed on Jan. 19, at the Cougar Splash Invitational, where they finished first out of five teams.
- Since last year, the Falcons have added five freshman to their roster.
- At the meet, the Marauders will honor redshirt senior Maddi Stoner. Stoner joined the program in 2018 and has certainly left her mark here at Millersville. She has been unable to compete this season due to injury, but that does not stop her from being a part of the team and cheering on her fellow teammates. Her career highlights include:
- First all-time in the 200-butterfly (2022)
- Second and fifth all-time in the 200-breaststroke (2022 and 2021)
- Second and third all-time in the 100-butterfly (2022 and 2021)
- Fourth all-time in the 50-freestyle (2022)
- Fourth all-time in the 200-IM (2022)
- "Maddi has been a key piece for our sprint group throughout her career," said Millersville head coach Eric Usbeck. "She has always set meaningful goals that motivated her each and everyday to become one of our best all around swimmers!"
