Shepherd and Shippensburg are traditionally strong East Opponents. We are looking forward to the test and excited to have them at home this weekend. Those pair of opponents always make for the most challenging weekends in conference play and I’m sure they also look forward the competing against the Ville and our travel partner West Chester. It’s often after those match ups we get a better idea of the challenges we all face for the rest of the season and the race to qualify for playoffs.

Their seems to be a lot of parity this year in the East so the teams that can string some wins together may be the ones standing at the end of the regular season.

I’m excited for the matches and also very interested to see both of them face off against West Chester. I do not feel we played them well the first time and this past weekend didn’t challenge them. All four teams will undoubtedly come to play Friday and Saturday. Should be lots of energy and fun if you’re a volleyball fan to see these battles.
Brian Smith, Millersville head coach
