
Millersville alum Caden Najdawi to play for Jordan National Team

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville men's basketball alum Caden Najdawi '21 is taking his game to the international stage. He will play for the Jordan national team in upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifying games.
Najdawi is a member of a 12-player roster set to two games in the next week as part of stage four of the Asian qualifiers. Jordan plays India in Amman, Jordan on Thursday, Aug. 25 before traveling to play New Zealand in Auckland on Aug. 29.
Jordan is currently ranked No. 39 in the FIBA world rankings and holds a 4-2 record as part of Group C in Asia.
As a Marauder, Najdawi was a driving force behind the program's rise to a PSAC East title and NCAA Tournament. He was a two-time All-PSAC East selection and scored over 1,000 career points. In 2022, Najdawi was named the PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Year.
