2022 PSAC volleyball preseason poll released

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The 2022 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) preseason poll was released Thursday afternoon for the upcoming season. The preseason poll included rankings for both the Western and Eastern divisions. Millersville landed at No. 6 in the East. 

Head Coach Brian Smith enters his 13th season with the Marauders. He returns 11 of his players from the 2021 season and adds six freshmen to the roster. 

East Stroudsburg ranked first in the Eastern Division with four first-place votes. Following behind in second place is Shepherd with three votes, and West Chester ranked in third place and received one first-place vote. In the Western Division, defending PSAC champions Clarion received five first-place votes and sit at the No. 1 ranking. Gannon, which finished as runners-up in 2021, were given three votes, and Edinboro tallied one. 

The Marauders 2022 season begins on August 26 against Le Moyne in the Ram Fest Tournament hosted at West Chester.
