BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Millersville women's lacrosse team scored four fourth-quarter goals today to pick up a victory over Bloomsburg, 10-7. The Marauders entered the final nine minutes of play in a 6-6 tie with the Huskies, 'Ville then saw those four goals come from four different players to take down its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East foe on the road.
Gillian Zimmerman and
Kristi Kada led the Marauders with four points each, Zimmerman's coming from two goals and two assists, and Kada's coming off a team-high three goals and one assist.
Morgan Scott recorded six saves in a winning effort.
Millersville improves to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in PSAC East play following the win, while Bloomsburg falls to 6-3 overall, and 3-2 in PSAC East play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 • The Marauders jumped out to a commanding 4-0 lead after one quarter of play with two goals coming from Kada, one from Zimmerman, and one from
Alexa Efron, which was her first goal of the season.
• Bloomsburg was able to cut the deficit to two goals in the second quarter of play, as the Huskies outscored 'Ville 3-1 in the quarter, with the Marauders lone goal coming from Kada. Â
• Marycait Dorley scored the lone goal for 'Ville in third-quarter action and was followed by Bloomsburg's Kelsey Clauss, who scored a goal of her own to keep the Marauder lead at two heading into the final quarter of play.
• Bloomsburg evened the score six minutes into the fourth quarter, making it 6-6 with nine minutes remaining. The Marauders followed the Huskies big offensive swing with one of their own, scoring four goals, compared to the Huskies one, giving themselves a 10-7 victory.
