Marauders bounce back with 83-point win over Rosemont

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's basketball team put on a show for the 800 Lancaster School District students in attendance for Friday afternoon's non-conference match-up with Rosemont, beating the Ravens 112-29. Marin Miller led the group with 20 points, which included a perfect 8-8 mark at the charity stripe and 2-2 from beyond the arch. Madison Grubb scored 13 points off the bench, she was followed by Morgan Mahoney with 12 and Jaida Parker with 11. Makiah Shaw rounds out the double-digit scorers with 10 points of her own.

Head coach Sharay Hall's group used its full-court press to build a near record-breaking lead, forcing 39 turnovers and scoring 49 points off Rosemont mistakes. Brenna Ortwein led 'Ville with seven steals and Shaw followed with five – every Marauder that checked in recorded at least one steal in the win.

The Marauders will look to build on this win heading into Thanksgiving week as they face off with Goldey-Beacom on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and Penn State Abington on Sunday, Nov. 27.
