Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Millersville men's tennis team concluded competition at the PSAC Individual Championship on Saturday, Oct. 8. Frank Yanni, Shaurya Piplani, and Dylan Tull represented the Marauders in the tournament.
Piplani and Yanni fell in the round of 16 in singles play. Piplani faced Sebastian Sevilla from Shepherd University and was defeated 3-6, 2-6. Yanni won his first set against Hristo Plasheski of Mercyhurst University, 6-3. Plasheski bounced back to win the next two and claim the match over Yanni.
The Marauders No. 1 duo of Tull and Yanni reached the quarterfinals after winning their first match, 8-2. In the quarterfinals, they faced Edinboro's Manav Sreekumar and Thibault Dorval who ended the Marauders' doubles action with a score of 8-2.
Millersville closes its fall schedule and will resume action Feb. 17.
