LEBANON, Pa. - Morgan Janiuk ran to a third-place finishing and helped the Millersville University cross country team to a third-place finish out of seven teams at Friday's LVC Last Chance Run Fast Invitational.

Janiuk ran a 22:53.5 on the 6K course, finishing behind West Chester's Isabella Marchini (22:20.9) and Kutztown's Colleen Gilbert (22:41.1). As a team, Millersville totaled 67 points. Kutztown won the race with 27 team points. West Chester took second with 53 points.

Behind Janiuk, Abbey Sullivan placed 12th with a time of 24:18.7. Hannah Sweda finished three spots behind in 24:53.6. Freshman Breia Mayes took 17th (25:00.6) and a group of six Marauders finished between 23rd and 30th.

Friday's race was Millersville's final prep before the PSAC Championships on Nov. 5 at Mansfield.
