LANCASTER, Pa. - The Millersville University cross country team started off their fall slate of races with a convincing victory on Saturday morning as the Marauders topped Elizabethtown College, and Franklin & Marshall College in the 2021 Diplomats Alumni Race.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Millersville got off to a strong start on the 5k course, as several Marauders navigated near the front of the pack from start to finish.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

Jillian Miller had the best individual finish for Ville as the senior took fourth place overall with a time of 19:27.1.
Miller finished just 5.9 second behind individual winner Alexis Salerno of Franklin and Marshall.
"I'm very happy for Jill today, that probably is her best race since her senior year in high school. She has struggled with injuries but never stopped working hard at keeping a good attitude," Head Coach Andy Young said.
Other top 10 finishers included Abbey Sullivan (6^th) 19:36.2… Morgan Janiuk (8^th) 19:53.6… and Kayce McCullough (9^th) 19:57.7.
