Moyer places second with multiple PR marks at Mondschein Multi

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Kaitlin Moyer represented the Millersville University track and field team at the two-day Mondschein Multis and turned in five total personal-best marks in the heptathlon for a second-place finish.
Moyer totaled a career-high 4,160 points with PR's in the high jump, shot put, 200-meter dash, and 800-meter run.
Moyer's first day started with a 16.33 in the 100-meter hurdles, and she followed that with a 5-0 1/2 in the high jump. She placed second among all competitors in the shot put with a career-best 33-8 1/4. She closed Thursday with a 27.88 in the 200.
The final three events came on Friday, and Moyer delivered a 15-11 1/2 in the long jump, a 103-1 1/2 in the javelin and a PR of 2:37.07 in the 800.
Millersville's full team returns to action on Saturday at West Chester's Bill Butler Invitational.
