Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville women's tennis used the depth of its singles lineup to top Edinboro 5-2 in PSAC crossover action Saturday at McComsey Tennis Courts.
Millersville evened its season record to .500 at 3-3 while Edinboro fell to 2-8 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• While Edinboro held an edge at the top of the lineup in doubles and singles, Millersville won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches and No. 3 through No. 5 singles.
Jasmine Morris and
Kelsey Heckert convincingly won at No. 2 doubles, 6-0, and
Maria Ojeda and
Lauren Weaver paired for a 6-4 win in the No. 3 spot. In singles,
Noelle Htwar won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3, Heckert won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4, and
Lauren Weaver outlasted Emily Cevera 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 5 flight.

• While Saturday's match did not count in the PSAC standings, Millersville is 3-1 against PSAC teams this season.
• Millersville is 5-1 at No. 5 singles and now 4-2 at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
• Saturday's win was Millersville third all-time over Edinboro and its first over the Fighting Scots since 1995.
