THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH CINDY WILSON
  • "It was great to be back on the field again! We have waited a long time for this day, so it was exciting to be out there."
  • "We have a lot players who are strong on the offensive end, but it takes time to mesh. The more game experiences we have, the more we will learn how to work for each other and create shooting opportunities."
  • "Just like on the offensive end, we are working to build those connections defensively as well. We saw some great defensive stop throughout the game, and we will continue to build on that."

NOTES
  • Millersville topped Georgian Court in shots 15-13 in the second half, but the Lions held the overall advantage, 28-26.
  • The Lions turned over the ball 21 times to the Marauders' 19.
