TOWSON, Md. – The Millersville women's basketball team fell to Towson tonight in an exhibition game.
The Tigers proved to be too much for the Marauders early, taking a 20-6 lead in the first quarter of play, and extending the lead to 45-21 at the half. They would continue the strong play in the second leading to an eventual 95-46 victory.
Freshman,
Makiah Shaw, who has been a bright spot this year for the rebuilding Marauders, was able to score a team-high 11 points off 3-5 shooting from the field. The forward also cashed in on all of her free throw attempts, going 4-4 on the night. Another freshman,
Bria Beverly, scored six points and also was perfect from the line throughout the night, shooting 6-6.

•The Marauders will head to Princess Anne, Md. to take on another Division I program in Maryland Eastern Shore on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m.
•The group will open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East play in the new year, as Shepherd will visit for a game on Jan. 5, 2022.
