HOW IT HAPPENED
• Millersville had three chances to take the lead starting in the 18' when Cassie Blyth fired a shot at Gannon keeper Kennedy Solymosi that she was able to control. Less than a minute later Blyth sent a corner kick in that made its way back to her for yet another shot on goal in the 19' that Solymosi saved out of bounces. Blyth then sent another corner in that Savannah Rennix was able to send on frame, but Solymosi was there for her third save of the match.
• The first half highlight came on the back end of Paulina Jordan back-to-back corner kicks near the 40' of play. Jordan sent in a corner in the 41' that Morgan Winchock was able to get in front of and send past Solymosi to give Millersville a 1-0 lead heading into the half.
• The second half was all defense from Millersville, as they were trying to hold on to a 1-0 lead to advance. Reagan Kolinski made all three of her saves in the final 30 minutes of play and none bigger than in the 77'. Gannon's Alexa Dix got past all 'Ville defenders and put herself in a one on one situation with Kolinski, Dix fired a shot to the right side of the net but Kolinski was able to send it off to keep the lead.
• The Lady Knight's would fire in two shots and send in a corner during the final 10 minutes of play. However, the Marauder defense wouldn't let up, they stopped every chance Gannon had to advance to the PSAC Title game.
