MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville Marauders wrestling team has won five of the last six dual meets it has competed in and return to PSAC action on Saturday, January 25 against No. 17 East Stroudsburg. The last time Millersville wrestled a conference dual meet was against Gannon University back on Dec. 7, 2019. The Ville's five dual meet victories in 2019-2020 has already surpassed last season's total of four.

The youthful Marauders lineup has continued to improve, with six wrestlers (Brandon Connor, Jackson Erb, Devin Flannery, Ryan McGuire, Josh Walls, and Caleb Warner) earning ten or more victories. Seven Marauder wrestlers achieved that feat during the entire 2019-2020 season.

• The latest 2019-2020 Super Region I Individual Rankings, released on Jan. 20, feature Marauders in nine of the ten weight classes:

125: Devin Flannery (ranked third)

149: Jackson Erb (ranked sixth)
157: Brandon Connor (ranked fourth)
165: Jarrett Feeney (ranked fifth)

• It is senior day on Saturday afternoon for the Marauders. Evan Morrill will be honored prior to the dual meet. Morrill, a two-sport athlete who is also a member of the football team, has earned 36 victories in his Marauders career.
• Caleb Warner leads the Marauders in both victories (17) and matches wrestled (23). Freshmen Jackson Erb (22 matches wrestled) and Jack Files (21 matches wrestled) have also logged a heavy workload. Sophomore Malik Jackson is fourth on the team in matches wrestled with 20.
• In total, Millersville wrestlers have recorded 38 falls, 18 technical falls, and 12 major decisions in the 2019-2020 season.

• Ryan McGuire opened the dual with a decision at 133 pounds, but the Warriors won the next three bouts (two by forfeit.)
• Shane Ruhnke, Evan Morrill, and David Wuestner were victorious for Millersville but three forfeits (at 149, 157, and 197 pounds) gave East Stroudsburg the dual meet victory.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• East Stroudsburg is 0-3 in dual meets this season.
• The Warriors' redshirt senior Mike Raccioppi is unbeaten at 11-0 and ranked No. 1 at 174 pounds in the latest NCAA DII Individual Men's College Rankings. He also holds the top spot in the Super Region I Individual Rankings.
• Other notable Warriors include junior Nick Conetta (5-0 at 133 pounds), freshman Nick Nittoli (12-7 at 285 pounds), and junior Marquan Payne (13-4 at 157 pounds.)
