MILERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's swim team took first in four of 11 events in the pool against East Stroudsburg at home in Anttonen Natatorium. The Marauders kicked off the meet by celebrating seniors
Jessica Berry and
Madisson Cartmill.
Despite the strong effort, Millersville fell short with just 63.5 points to the Warriors' 108.5.

Maddi Stoner and
Alexis Shollenberger started off the afternoon taking first in 200-yard medley relay. The squad touched the wall with a time of 1:55.84, four seconds ahead of East Stroudsburg.
Shollenberger went on to claim first in the 50-yard freestyle and second in the 100-yard butterfly. She completed the 50 free 25.64 seconds clearing the PSAC cut and marking a new season-best time. Shollenberger completed the first 50-yards of the 100 fly in just 30.52 seconds, a new personal best for the swimmer. She touched the wall with a total time of 1:07.21.
Cartmill came out about three second ahead of East Stroudsburg's Olivia Lukshides in the 200-yard individual medley. The senior snagged the first-place finish with a time of 2:18.54. Â
Stoner was the third Marauder to claim first in an individual event recording a 1:13.24 in the 100-yard breaststroke. She snagged second in the 50 free, touching the wall in 26.09. Simon saw a career-best performance in the 50 free with a time of 26.89.
The Marauders get another chance at it next weekend as they travel to Allentown, Pa. to face Cedar Crest on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m.
