Kutztown, Pa. - Most members of the Millersville University men's tennis team were too young to pick up a tennis racquet the last time the Marauders defeated Kutztown. Millersville's 6-1 road win on Saturday afternoon against the Golden Bears is its first victory against Kutztown since the 1998-99 season.

The Marauders (4-12, 2-2 PSAC) have won three-straight matches for the first time since the 2010-11 season, while the Golden Bears (1-10, 1-1 PSAC) fall to 0-5 at home this season. 

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Ben Fellman and Pearson Clary began the match with a 6-1 win at flight three doubles, and Frank Yanni and Rodrigo Lorencin clinched the doubles point for Millersville with a 6-3 victory at flight two doubles. Carlos Martinez-Lucas and Peter Landis played very well in their flight one doubles match, but ultimately lost, 7-5.
• Yanni's 6-1, 7-5 win at flight three singles clinched the victory for the Marauders. Clary handily won at flight six singles, 6-0, 6-0, while Jose Alcazar cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at flight five singles. 
• Martinez-Lucas won his flight one singles match, 6-2, 6-1, and Fellman was victorious in his flight four singles match, 6-1, 6-3. The only match Millersville dropped was Landis' flight two singles match, but he still played well in a 7-6 (7-0), 6-4 decision.

• Carlos Martinez-Lucas improves to 12-3 in his singles matches during the spring season.
• The Marauders improve to 45-32 all-time against Kutztown.
