Moyer represents Marauders at Mondschein Multis

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Millersville University sophomore Kaitlin Moyer represented the Millersville University track and field team in the heptathlon at the two-day Mondschein Multis and turned in a fourth-place finish in the "Gold" flight.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
• Moyer, competing in the heptathlon for the first time, set personal best marks in six of the seven events and finished with 3,492 points. She finished ahead of three PSAC athletes and was second among PSAC finishers.
• Moyer's highest point total of 619 came with a time of 16.80 in the 100-meter hurdles. That time was .79 faster than her previous best. She placed fourth in that event. She took first out of 10 athletes in the high jump and totaled 588 points with a PR jump of 4-9 3/4. Moyer totaled 403 points with a fourth-place finish in the shot put. A time of 28.48 in the 200-meter dash--a second better than her previou best--was good for 594 points and a fifth-place finish. Her leap of 15-0 1/2 in the long jump was good for 448 points and a fourth-place finish. She took sixth in the field in the javelin and ran a 2:43.25 to finish fourth an grab 536 points in the closing 800-meter run.
