Millersville, Pa. - Millersville University Director of Athletics Miles Gallagher has announced the resignation of women's swimming head coach Kyle Almoney, who has accepted the position of head women's swimming coach at Division I Saint Francis University. A national search for Millersville's next head coach will be conducted immediately.
Almoney led the Millersville program for 12 seasons and resigns as the longest-tenured coach in the program's 42 years. Almoney's 42-36 dual meet record makes him the winningest coach in program history. Millersville finished 10th at the PSAC Championships five times in the last six years, with a program-best eighth-place finish coming in 2016.
"I thank Kyle for his years of service and dedication to Millersville University," said Gallagher. "I wish him the best of luck at Saint Francis."
