ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Millersville University women's soccer team looks to pick up a pivotal conference win against four-time defending PSAC Champions East Stroudsburg on Sunday, Sept. 23 at Pucillo Field. The Marauders currently sit alone in first place with 15 points while the Warriors are in a tie in second place with 13 points.
• The Marauders earned votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches national poll and are within a week of the half-way point of the season owning a record of 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the PSAC standings.
• The Marauders are second in the league in points (49) and assists (15), trailing only East Stroudsburg.
• Junior
Kay Liebl's seven goals and three assists have her in the team and conference lead in points with 18. Liebl scored a goal in the first six games and has a point in each of the seven.
• Liebl is currently in ninth natioanlly with 1.17 goals per game and eighth in points per game at 2.83. Liebl is ranked fourth nationally in total points with 17.
• Sophomore
Talia Grynkewicz's four goals and three assists are second on the team.
• The team owns a 0.71 goals-against-average which is fifth in the league.
• Against conference opponents, the Marauders have combined to scored 11 goals while allowing five. Millersville's defense has kept conference opponents to a 0.83 goals against average.
• Yesterday, the Marauders tied their last season win total with six victories.

LAST TIME IN ACTION: MILLERSVILLE 2, NO. 20 SETON HILL 0
• The Marauders scored their first-ever win over Seton Hill and a win over a nationally-ranked program.
• An even first half kept the game scoreless but the Marauders came firing out of halftime with
Alexis Spencer scoring off a rebound from a Grynkewicz shot.
• The Marauders found the net not long after that first goal. Liebl drove the ball into the box and Grynkewicz chipped the ball into the net.
• Millersville held a 6-5 edge on shots in the first half while Seton Hill totaled eight to Millersville's four in the second.

Erin Heimbach earned her first collegiate shutout and start in net while stopping four shots.

• In the 85th minute, Liebl showed off her range and netted a goal to halve ESU's lead over Millersville. The Warriors weathered the late rally and led 2-1 as the clock expired.
• The Marauders outshot the Warriors 15-10 and 5-4 on goal, but the game defining difference came down to ESU's keeper who saved four shots.
• Millersville dominated the offensive possession after ESU's second goal and outshot the Warriors 3-1 leading up to Liebl's goal.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• The Warriors are coming off a 3-0 victory over California (Pa.). East Stroudsburg are 4-2-1 and 4-1-1 in conference play.
• East Stroudsburg's offense is led by Monica Wood who has six goals and one assist.
• Head coach Rob Berkowicz have given minutes to both goalkeepers: Mauri Jackson and Megan Young. Young began the season starting in the first four matches while Jackson has played in the last three.. The squad's save percentage mark of .900 is the fourth best in the PSAC.
