ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Millersville University women's soccer team enters Saturday tied for first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference standings and will look to keep pace when it hosts Edinboro at Pucillo Field on Saturday afternoon.
• The Marauders, ranked fourth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region poll, are off to a 4-1 start overall with an 3-1 mark in the PSAC standings which has them in a five-way tie for first place through two weeks of the season.
• The Marauders suffered their first loss of the season at Kuztown Wednesday after starting the season with four consecutive victories.It was the team's best start since 2013 and only the second time it started 4-0.
• Junior Kay Liebl is leading the offense for the Marauders by recording a goal in each of the first five matches of the season. Liebl has six goals so far. Liebl is four points away from topping her last season total of 17. She leads the conference in goals, shots and points.
• After scoring three first goals in the first three games of the season, sophomore Talia Grynkewicz has recorded four shots in the past two games.
• Following the Kutztown loss, the Marauders improved their goals per game average to 2.60 and shots per game of 19.2 while holding their opponents to six shots.
• Goalkeeper Katia Mujica has already recorded more wins (4) than she did last year. Mujica currently holds a 0.80 goals against average with two shutouts on the season.
 
LAST TIME IN ACTION: KUTZTOWN 2, MILLERSVILLE 1
• After going down by two goals in the first 11 minutes of the game, the Marauders charged with 20 second-half shots.
• In the 50th minute, Liebl scored her sixth goal of the year by stealing the ball from an opponent and shooting to the wide side.
• Before that loss, the Marauders were the last remaining unbeaten, untied team in the conference.

THE LAST MEETING: Edinboro 4, Millersville 2 (Sept. 16, 2017)
• Edinboro took advantage of a defensive breakdown early and scored its first goal in the opening 90 seconds of play. The Fighting Scots struck again six minutes later to double their lead in the eighth minute.
Lauren Downey and Delaney Meadows scored the two goals for the Marauders.
• Edinboro out shot Millersville 12-3 in the first half but Millersville came back and out shot Edinboro 8-7 in the second half. 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Edinboro is 2-3 coming off a 2-1 victory over California (Pa.). The Fighting Scots snapped a three-game losing streak thanks to Danielle Chatten's two goals.
• Chatten recorded her second career two-goal game. Her first one came a year ago against the Marauders.
• Chatten leads the Fighting Scots in both points (8) and goals (4), and is ranked eighth in the league in goals. Rebecca Mann and Cameron Bujnoski has totaled three points on the season. Three other players have recorded points for Edinboro this season.
• In net, Anna Voelker owns a 2.00 GAA as well as .706 saves percentage. She has made 4.80 total saves per game, which is the seventh in the league.
