
Greene sets meet record, Marauders post 16 top-five finishes at ESU's All-American Meet

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Sunflower Greene set a meet record in the discus at Saturday's All-American Invitational held at East Stroudsburg, leading a strong Millersville showing.
Greene's 145-09 narrowly topped the meet record previously set in 2014. Millersville took four of the top six spots in the event. Madison Martin hit 139-2 for a new PR and one of the top-five tosses in the PSAC this season. Aliyah Striver placed fifth and Stephanie Garner took sixth.
Greene also won the hammer throw by 21 feet, launching a throw of 183-9. Millersville throwers occupied four of the top five spots. Amanda Myers was second at 162-6. Martin finished third (155-6), and Garner placed fifth (151-7).
Greene did not compete in the shot put, but Striver finished second and smashed her PR by nearly two feet, hitting a mark of 43-0 1/2. Reunisha Williams also posted a PR at 36-3.
Clara Forney was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash, running an outdoor PR and the team's best time of the season at 58.67.
Destinee Holloman placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.47. Four Marauders finished in the top 10 in the 200-meter dash. Emonie Reviere led the group in fifth place with a season-best time of 25.75, which qualified her for the PSAC Championships. Arianna Camel placed sixth just .01 behind her teammate. Lenaiya Flowers also ran a PSAC qualifying time, taking ninth with a time of 25.96.
Camel also placed second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.06.
The Marauders' 4x100-meter relay team comprised of Brianna Doherty, Reviere, Holloman and Courtney Ingold, ran a season-best time of 49.03, placing third. Forney, Flowers, Ingold and Aniya Gibbs turned in Millersville's first 4x400-meter relay time of the season, placing third with a time of 4:06.21.
Doherty also competed in the long jump, placing third with a season-best leap of 18-2 1/4. In the pole vault, Erin Harman matched her season high at 11-3 3/4 and finished second.
