Men's Tennis Ryan Small, Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant

Bloomsburg tops men’s tennis, 7-2

Box Score Bloomsburg, Pa. – Millersville's No. 2 singles player Ben Fellman won his singles match and junior Peter Landis and senior Christian Akerley claimed their No. 2 doubles victory in the 7-2 loss to Bloomsburg. The Marauders suffered their second conference loss in the season.

Fellman defeated Benerardo Abreu; 7-5, 6-2. Fellman won seven matches in the first set and then came back in the second set to take six matches to claim his seventh win of the season and first win against a conference opponent.

Landis and Akerley came on top in an 8-4 victory over Abreu and Rafael Rufato. The Millersville duo claimed its second win of the season as a team.

The Marauders return home to McComsey Tennis Courts Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. to play Kutztown.
