ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Marauders are coming off their closest game of the season, losing at Pitt-Johnstown 62-58 on Dec. 19. Millersville was down 37-24 at halftime but outscored the Mountain Cats 18-5 in the third quarter to even the score. There were four lead changes in the final quarter, but Pitt-Johnstown ultimately came out on top.Â
•
Lauren Lister scored a career-high 31 points in the game  and carried her team in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of the Marauders' 16 points. She missed just one minute on the court after playing the full 40 minutes in Millersville's 66-54 win against Clarion the previous day and shot 78.6 percent from the floor. Lister currently ranks third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in points per game (21.6), shot percentage (53.4) and minutes per game (35.1). She is also tied for ninth in steals per game (2.1).
•
Courtney Dimoff also had a strong performance against the Mountain Cats, scoring 19 points and sinking a career-high five 3-pointers. Her 19 points tied a career high that she set the day before against Clarion. In her last two games, Dimoff has shot 46.7 percent (14-for-30) from the floor, including 47.4 percent (9-for-19) from beyond the arch.
• Millersville has struggled to score off its offensive rebounds in its recent games, as it has totaled just 15 second chance points in its last four contests. Prior to that stretch, the Marauders scored a season-high 16 second chance points against No. 20 California (Pa.) on Dec. 1.
• After contributing a season-high 40 points against Seton Hill on Dec. 8, the Marauder bench has not been much of a factor on offense in the team's last two games, totaling just five points during that stretch.
• The two Marauders with the highest positive plus/minus ratio are
Olivia Mottern and
Catherine Copeland. Mottern has helped her team outscore its opponents by 22 points in over 232 minutes on the court, while Copeland has helped her team outscore its opponents by 21 points in just under 84 minutes on the court.
• Millersville's game against Shepherd will be its final nonconference game of the season.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
• The Tigers, who went 10-18 overall and 9-10 in CACC play last season, have lost five-straight games. One of the lone bright spots for Holy Family has been the shooting of Katie O'Hare, who leads the conference with a 3-point percentage of 47.4. She holds that spot despite going 0-for-5 from beyond the arch in her last game, a 65-49 loss against Wilmington.
THE LAST MEETING: No. 19 Millersville 61, No. 4 Holy Family 51 (Nov. 23, 2010)
• The Tigers became the highest ranked team the Marauders have ever defeated thanks to
Aurielle Mosley, who notched a double-double with a game-high 16 points and career-high 17 rebounds. Millersville held Holy Family to a 20.6 shot percentage and forced 20 Tigers turnovers.
SCOUTING THE RAMS
• The Rams do a lot of their damage from beyond the arch. Shepherd leads the conference with a 3-point percentage of 40.4 and boast Kayla Tibbs, who is the conference leader is 3-point percentage with a 48.7 mark.
THE LAST MEETING: Millersville 78, Shepherd 60 (Nov. 27, 2017)
• Five Marauders tallied double-digit points, including
Lauren Lister who scored a game-high 21 off the bench.
Courtney Dimoff notched 10 points and, along with
Kendra Bamberger and
Alayah Hall, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds as Millersville held a 50-32 edge in boards. The Rams' leading scorer from the game, Morgan Arden, is no longer a member of the team.
