MARAUDERS IN DEPTH
• The No. 15-ranked Millersville University women's soccer team, coming off a run to the PSAC Semifinals, turns its attention to the NCAA Division II Tournament this weekend with a first-round matchup on Friday at 2 p.m. against East Stroudsburg. This contest will be a rematch of the conference semifinals where ESU defeated the Marauders in double overtime to advance to the conference finals.
• Millersville is making its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
• The Marauders finished Friday's PSAC semifinal with a 14-5 overall record and finished 13-4 in the conference. In its quarterfinal match against Seton Hill, Millersville was able to see off the Griffins, 2-0, to advance to the semifinals.
• Junior Kay Liebl leads the team in scoring with 42 points on 17 goals and eight assists. Sophomore Talia Grynkewicz is second on the team with 27 points on 11 goals and five assists.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Erin Heimbach has posted a 10-4 record and a .742 save percentage.
• Head coach Matt Procopio was named the PSAC Coach of the Year last Wednesday taking the Marauders from a No. 13 preseason poll ranking to the No. 3 seed in the PSAC Tournament.
• In the month of October, every time the Marauders scored at least six points, they won.
• Millersville's defense is allowing just 1.16 goals per game.
• Talia Grynkewicz scored a goal in each of the team's two conference tournament matches. Liebl needs one goal to tie the program's single-season goals and points records. She also needs an assist to break the single season assists number.
• In October, the Marauders are 4-1 when they have recorded 17 or more shots.

NCAA TOURNAMENT BREAKDOWN
• The winner of a first-round matchup between fourth-seeded Millersville and fifth-seeded East Stroudsburg will play host Bloomsburg on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. On the other side of the region, second-seeded West Chester receives the other bye and will serve as the host. The Golden Rams play the winner of the other first-round matchup between third-seeded Kutztown and sixth-seeded West Virginia Wesleyan on Friday.
• The top remaining seed from the Atlantic Region after this weekend's matches will host the Atlantic Regional final on Friday, November 16, with the winner of the Atlantic and East Regionals meeting on Sunday, November 18, for an opportunity to advance to the NCAA Semifinals which will be held at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh beginning on Thursday, November 29. The national championship game will take place on Sunday, December 1.
• This marks the first time in program history that the Marauders will be in the national tournament.
