Shippensburg, Pa. - PSAC Central leader Shippensburg handed Millersville its fifth consecutive road loss Saturday, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-16).

Millersville fell to 9-9 (4-5 PSAC) with the loss while Shippensburg continued its impressive season, building its record to 19-3 overall and 8-1 in PSAC play. Shippensburg received votes in last week's AVCA Division II poll.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Shippensburg totaled 14 service aces, including seven in the second set. The Raiders also out-hit Millersville .328 to .207.
• Shippensburg controlled each set, building leads of at least seven points in all three. Shippensburg totaled 18 kills in the first and third sets and 14 in the second. Millersville's highest total of kills (13) came in the first set.

INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
• Jayci Suseland was the lone Marauder with double-digit kills. She recorded 13 kills without committing an error.
• Katie Laughman totaled 29 assists--just the fourth time this season she has not topped 30 in a match.
• Chyna Gubbings totaled three block assists and a block solo.

NOTES
• Millersville managed just two aces for the second consecutive match--both season lows. 
• Maddee Luring has at least one ace in seven of the last eight matches.
• Suseland has double-digit kills in 15 of 18 matches.

UP NEXT
• Millersville's seven-match road trip still has four matches left. It continues Friday, Oct. 12 at PSAC East-leading East Stroudsburg.
