West Chester, Pa. - Millersville women's volleyball led by three and was four points away from closing out a PSAC Southeast road win against a West Chester club that had lost just two matches all season. COACH BRIAN SMITH QUOTES
• "It was a nail-biter. It was a tough environment. They had a good fan base there. Our girls played their hearts out and played really well. There were a couple sets where we were down five or six points and we came back. One we won, one we lost and in the fifth set, we were up late but got blocked a few times. We kept fighting and fighting and lost by three in the end. I'm not disappointed in the performance. They excecuted the game plan fairly well. We lost a tough match to a tough opponent. We got a point out of it, pushing it to five. Hopefully when we get to our gym we can match the intensity with our crowd, beat them in three or four and win that series."
• "[Seven matches in a row on the road] is tough. I don't get to pick the schedules. I personally thinks that crazy but it is what it is. We will deal with it, do the best we can and finish with five at home. Ship is a tough match-up, and we look to go out to Pitt-Johnstown and challenge them Friday night."
• "Every week (Chyna) is getting better. She is young and learning. She is playing in a position she has never played before but that's helping out. Getting more production from her is good."
