
Women's cross country finishes third at LVC Last Chance Run Fast

Annville, Pa. - The Millersville University women's cross country team notched a third-place finish at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast on Friday evening. The Marauders accumulated a score of 72 and only finished behind East Stroudsburg and Gettysburg College. Three pairs of Marauders notched consecutive finishes.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
• For the second time this season, Emily Bland was the top finisher for Millersville, placing 12th overall with a time of 24:48.50.
• Elizabeth Rudderow placed just behind Bland in the 13th spot, clocking in with a personal-best 24:50.50.
• Yoangelys Rijo-Cedeno (25:01.90, 17th) and Natalie Poulton (25:02.10, 18th) also recorded consecutive finishes.
• Skylar Maruer also finished within the top 30, finishing in 23rd place with a personal-best 25:21.10 mark.
• Victoria Ranck (26:13.60, 34th) and Kelley Taylor (26:31.20, 38th) rounded out the team's top seven finishers, with Taylor setting a new personal best.
• Natalie Pietrowski didn't finish far behind Taylor, placing 40th with a new personal best of 26:32.40.
• Alexa Happ (27:20.7, 53rd), Gemma Pasewicz (28:39.00, 61st), Brianna Laliberte (29:29.40, 64th), Sydney Levin (29:41.70, 65th), Brianna Brennan (29:58.10, 68th) and Bridget Dugan (34:40.30, 75th) were the remaining Marauder harriers, with Levin recording a new personal best.

• "It was a solid meet for us today. We ran a controlled effort for some of our top runners so they could be well-rested for PSACs."
• "We set a lot of personal bests today. We were trying to figure out our top 12 runners for PSACs, and now we have a good idea of who we're going with."
NOTES
• Last season Lebanon Valley College hosted the Dutchmen Invitational and Millersville finished fifth out of 14 teams.
