Kutztown, Pa. – The Millersville University wrestling team went undefeated at the Kutztown Duals Saturday. The Marauders won 33-14 over LIU Post and 33-16 over Minot State.
The team has claimed seven wins in the season, the most going back to 2008-09 season when the Marauders went 9-8.
LIU POST MATCH
Junior
Colton Dull went undefeated on the weekend. Dull improved to 3-0 by recording a 6-3 decision win over Bobby Pease. Redshirt juniors
Connor Sheehan (125) and
Alex Baider (133) started Millersville off with a 12-0 advantage taking a forfeit and an injury default.
Freshman
Eric Fuentes earned his first technical fall win of the season beating Daniel Espineira. Fuentes won 21-2 to extend the Marauder lead to 17-6.
184-pound
Evan Morrill, Dull and 285-pound
Zachary Yackenchick finished the third round of duals with wins. Morrill brought the lead to 26-14 with a 10-8 decision. Yackenchick posted his first major decision victory of the season by claiming it over Damien Caffrey, 14-2.

Sheehan pinned Dean Arevalo at the 3:30 mark to give Millersville the 6-0 advantage. Baider followed with a pin at 2:15 against Marco Antonio Ramirezlazos. Sheehan earned his eighth victory of the season and kept his undefeated dual record alive. Baider ended the weekend with his 13
th overall win.

Fuentes picked up his second win of the day after his opponent was called for an illegal move. Ruhnke scored his third fall of the season at the 2:37 mark against Carlos Toldenano to extend the lead to 27-4.
