GAME OVERVIEW
•    Millersville and Gannon have not played since the start of the 2015-16 season, and since Gannon joined the PSAC in 2008-09, the two programs have met just five times. Gannon holds a slight 3-2 edge in that stretch, but Millersville has won two in a row. Prior to the 2015 triple overtime victory for Millersville, it had not won at Gannon since 1991. Millersville is 2-5 all-time at the Hammermill Center.
•    Marcus Adkison's 23 points accounted for 35 percent of Millersville's scoring against Lock Haven Wednesday. Adkison now ranks ninth in the PSAC in scoring average at 19.4 points per game. He's scored over 20 points nine times this season. He's been extremely efficient, too. He and Kutztown's Anthony Lee are the only players in the PSAC shooting at least 47 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 85 percent from the free throw line. Adkison ranks fourth in the league in 3-point shooting, eighth in free throw shooting and 20th in field goal percentage while ranking seventh in shot attempts. His percentages are even more remarkable considering 51.3 percent of his shots come from three. Among the 18 PSAC players with at least 200 shot attempts, no one has taken a higher percentage of threes and ranks better than Adkison in field goal percentage. Among players with at least 85 3-pointer attempts, only Lee and IUP's Anthony Glover rank higher in field goal percentage. Adkison has taken 37 more threes than Lee and eight more than Glover.
•    Adkison has scored in double figures in 17 consecutive games--the longest such single season streak by a Marauder since Charlie Parker did so to start the 2007-08 season. If Adkison can hit for double figures Saturday, his 18 in a row will be the longest since Greg Testa performed the feat in every game of the 2005-06 season. Testa scored in double figures in 41 consecutive games across three seasons. Adkison is on pace to average over 19 points per game, and the last Marauder to do that was Reggie Bates (19.2) a decade ago in 2007-08. Including the 152 points he scored as a member of Shepherd in 2005-06, Adkison has scored 903 points in 71 career games. He's scored 751 in 44 games as a Marauder (17.1 per game). Adkison has led the team in scoring 10 times through 18 games but has also led the team in assists nine times (second on the team) and in steals five times (first on the team).
•    Caden Najdawi became the first player in the PSAC East to win the division's freshman of the week award twice. Najdawi ranks second among Eastern Division rookies in scoring. Over the last eight games, he has averaged 12.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. He has also shot 47.4 percent from the field in that stretch.
•    Millersville started three freshmen for the fourth consecutive game. Freshmen have combined for 44 starts so far this season, with James Sullivan having started all 18 and D'Marco Suggs and Najdawi each starting 12. No other team in the PSAC has had as many freshmen starts. Freshmen account for 1,820 minutes played, which is 49.9 percent of the team's total minutes. Sullivan and Najdawi rank second and fourth on the team in average minutes per game.

SCOUTING GANNON
• Since losing three in a row to Bowie State, Shippensburg and Kutztown in early December, Gannon has reeled off seven consecutive wins and now sit alone in second place in the PSAC West. As usual, Gannon is tough to beat at home, posting a 7-1 record in the Hammermill Center, its lone loss coming against West Chester. It is a veteran team with 10 juniors and seniors.
• The Golden Knights win with defense, holding opponents to 63.2 points per game, 42.7 percent shooting and 28.8 percent shooting from three. It has allowed more than 69 points just once this season, and that came in the season-opener--an overtime game against nationally-ranked Wheeling  Jesuit. Gannon leads the league in scoring defense and 3-point defense.
•    Gannon's 216 3-pointers attempted are the fewest in the PSAC and 147 fewer than Millersville. It is a balanced attack with four players averaging at least 9.2 points per game. No other player on the roster averages more than 4.6. Jair Greene and Zay Jackson both average 14.4 points per game. Evan Phoenix leads the team with 9.1 rebounds per game.
